Dear Parents
The children in year 6 have shown a great attitude to their SATs this week and celebrated the end of a busy week with one of Pino’s special ice creams provided by the Friends. Thank you to all the staff, Pino and Emma!
July Sports Day
Miss Conroy and Mrs Holding have had some exciting ideas for Sports Day this year. They are planning to do some team activities as well as a competitive event and we know we can look forward to some lovely music if Mrs Holding is involved! The dates for Sports Day are:
· Wednesday 3 July (morning): years 3 and 4
· Wednesday 3 July (afternoon): Early Years and Nursery
· Thursday 4 July (morning): years 5 and 6
· Thursday 4 July (afternoon): years 1 and 2
Please keep your fingers crossed for dry weather!
Polling Day
Next Thursday 23 May, the school is being used as a polling station. Please can we ask for your help in keeping the drop off zone clear that day.
Thank you to R Klee for a wonderful assembly this afternoon. We enjoyed their enthusiastic rendition of ‘What the Ladybird Heard’, using a story map and some lovely singing accompanied by Mrs Kensett on the guitar. Well done Miss Williams and her team.
Have a lovely weekend.
