Dear Parents 

Mrs Agostini was very excited when she saw the Christmas trees arrive in school yesterday and one is already decorated in the entrance hall; we would like to thank Mr Troop for their safe arrival.  Tonight the Out of School Club are going to transform our lovely tree in the hall.  There is singing all around the school and we are looking forward to all our Christmas performances and events.  The Friends Christmas Fair has come around quickly and the doors will open to the event at 3.30 pm next Friday and, of course, there will be a VIP visit by Father Christmas himself and his elves! 

Bikeability

The children in Year 5 have been doing Bikeability all week and the instructors were very impressed at their learning behaviours and cycling skills.  Well done everyone in Y5 and cycle carefully.

History visit

Year 4 visited St Christopher’s Care Home this week and learnt about Northampton’s past from the residents.  It was a very enjoyable and informative afternoon; the children asked well thought out questions and the residents were delighted to see them and share their stories. 

Mobile Phones

Can we remind parents that they should not be using their phones in the school grounds for safeguarding reasons.

Swearing

Can we also ask that parents talk respectfully to each other and do not swear in front of the children, thank you.

We are looking forward to Year 1’s Christingle on Thursday afternoon that the children perform for their families; they have sounded fantastic during rehearsals.
