Magic Mud Sensory Investigation

This week the children worked together with Miss Esson to create magic mud! They investigated what happened when they mixed soil, bicarbonate of soda and vinegar together. It was wonderful to see their faces and to hear their reactions as they watched the soil begin to bubble! The children then explored the texture of the mixture in their hands and talked to their friends about how it felt. After the experiment the children took the mixture out to the mud kitchen to explore further in their independent play.
