Dear Parents,
This week we have welcomed our first set of children into Reception. They have arrived smiling in the morning and have settled well. Mrs Wise has been very impressed with their resilience. She was telling me all about the ‘Jurassic World Train Adventure’ so carefully built by some of the children in the unit, showing great co-operation and problem-solving skills. We are looking forward to welcoming a new set of children next week.
The Circus is Coming to Town!
Just a reminder that ‘Happy’s Circus’ is taking place on school grounds next Thursday, 21st September. There were only a few remaining tickets left, so if you are interested, please follow this link https://www.pta-events.co.uk/friendsofbridgewaterprimary
Family Breakfast
Family Breakfast started last Friday and it has been lovely to see our families back in the hall on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am until 8.30am. If you would like a freshly cooked breakfast, fruit, cereals, toast etc… do pop along.
Reminders:
- Please can you remember to switch off your mobile phones in school or delay calls until you are off the school premises, this is due to safeguarding considerations. Thank you for your support with this.
- Whenever possible, please make medical, optician and dental appointments outside of school hours, so children can get off to a flying start at this time of the year. If this is unavoidable, please don’t forget to bring in your appointment confirmation for our records. Thank you!
- Lost property baskets are already filling up; please check that all your child’s clothes and water bottles etc. are named with labels or waterproof pens, so anything mislaid can be returned more easily.
It looks like the sunshine is back for the next few days!
