Dear Parents
Another term has shot by and what a lovely calm term of learning for all, with Year 6 going off to Osmington Bay and finishing with the amazing Year 4 Harvest Production.
Year 4 Project Planet Performance
Year 4 performed Project Planet for us, with the message that we should be saving our wildflower meadows coming through loud and clear. Every child gave a wonderful confident performance and the singing was exceptional. They had listened hard and worked together as a team telling the story with clarity and joy. Thank you to the staff who drew the superb standards from every child who were motivated to perform, act, dance and sing to their very best.
Happy Special Birthday
Mary Kay attended the performance this morning and was blown away by the quality of the singing from the very first song. Mary was our Chair of governors for well over ten years and is still a key member of our governing board. It was lovely that she attended, as she is celebrating a very, very special birthday! Our chef, Heather, who prepares our delicious dinners is also celebrating a special birthday and we wish them both a wonderful birthday from Bridgewater.
Harvest Contributions
Thank you very much for all your generous harvest donations which were collected by Mrs G Douglas and the team and taken to the Hope Centre and a local food bank where they will be gratefully received.
After School Behaviour
Lauren, our AMEY caretaker, would like to remind children not climb on the rubbish bins, salt bins and the safety barriers at the base of the lamp posts in the interests of safety. Thank you.
Parent Meetings Coming Up Soon!
Don’t forget to sign up for the Parent Meetings after half term where you can catch up with your child’s teacher and share updates and reflections to ensure they are happy, safe and on track in their learning.
The children will return on Tuesday 31st – then it will be the Halloween disco on Wednesday 1st November.
Wishing you all a lovely half term
Alison Harvey
