Welcome to this celebration of learning blog. I always think of the blogs as providing a window to look into the children’s fascinating world at school. I am in the privileged position to be able to capture events across the school and community as they happen and share them with you. It’s also a bit like a diary in that you can look back and see a colourful reflection of the year.

We had an amazing build up to Christmas with the first ever Nursery Nativity which was gorgeous, a wonderful EY nativity and a beautiful Christingle service for Y1. Year Two performed ‘The Disgruntled Snowman’ which was highly entertaining and Y3 performed a stunning Carol Service in the atmospheric local church. The choirs were Carol singing across the town at the Grosvenor Centre, local churches and schools, retirement homes etc and Y6 entertained us with a musical soirée and an impressive WW1 exhibition. We had a hilarious staff panto where strictly met Snow White and Santa turned up at school and at the amazing Christmas Fayre. It all started with the gathering of the community for Carols on the Green illuminated by our Diwali lanterns.
Now we are moving on into the spring term but we can enjoy looking back to our Christmas Bridgewater memories.
