Growing Potatoes

In March, the children planted potatoes. Since then they have been busy watering the potato plants and have enjoyed watching them grow. After a long wait, the potatoes were finally ready and the children picked the potatoes from the plants. It was lovely to see the children sorting the potatoes according to their size and explore how they felt in their hands.

The children watched their potatoes being cooked and talked about how they had changed. They happily chopped their potatoes and ate them at the table with their friends. It was marvellous to hear the children talk about how much they were enjoying their potatoes!

Finally, they washed up their own plates!
