Irchester Country Park

What a super day Year 3 have had today at Irchester Country Park learning lots of new survival skills. We learned to build shelters using the branches of fallen trees and made fire using flint and steel.  A short nature trail helped us to spot the first signs of spring, whilst some observational drawing helped us to appreciate the nature that surrrounds us. We completed an orienteering task which was really quite tricky at first but once we pulled together as a team we managed to solve the puzzles and had great fun in the process. Our wellies have had a good mud bath but the weather stayed dry which was a relief!

Well done for your super behaviour, you represented Bridgewater fantastically and were a pleasure to take out for the day. A hug thank-you to our parent helpers also, your help is very much appreciated!
