Wow what a term it has been! The children have absolutely knocked our socks off with how much progress they have made since joining us in September.

The children have experienced lots of great learning opportunities so far in Reception including: hosting birthday parties to support out maths understanding, learning about and starring in class artist assemblies, exploring the seasonal changes through stories like the Leaf Man and frosty science walks, having their first experience of gymnastics and apparatus, and many more you will have seen via your Tapestry accounts.

We have finished the term with some lovely festive activities including a Christmas Window tour around the school, gingerbread baking, Christmas card making, a panto, a ‘Christmas party’ in our class bubbles, and even a socially distanced (outside) visit from Father Christmas!

From all of the Early Years Team, we’d like to say thank you for all of your support throughout the term and we wish you a very happy and safe Christmas Break!

Please see below some nice moments throughout the term J
