Lovely weather for story telling!

In English this term, we have been exploring cumulative stories. These are stories which keep adding new parts or characters, such as the enormous turnip. After innovating the enormous turnip, we have planned our own cumulative stories using the enormous turnip as a basis. For example, an elephant which has his trunk stuck in a tree and has to ask different animals to help. To support our story writing, we went out into the beautiful weather to practise telling our story. Practising storytelling to inanimate objects helps the children with their confidence and expression.
