Bridgewater Primary were treated to a live Brass Band recital last week!

Mrs Holding arranged for the whole school to Zoom Miss Coles and her colleagues from NMPAT, in our respective classrooms.

The children enjoyed learning about the different brass instruments, the different sounds they make and compared their sizes and shapes. We even played a game of 'guess the instrument' by listening carefully to the pitch of its sound and matching it to the player.

We enjoyed listening to a variety of songs, including the theme tune from Jurassic Park! It was a hit!

Thank you to NMPAT and the talented musicians for giving us an engaging concert, and answering our questions. The children were inspired to meet you.
