Supporting your child with reading

We understand that when children get to Key Stage 2, many parents feel unsure about how to support them with their reading.

Attached to this post are some questions which you could ask your child when reading with them, which tackle the key areas of reading comprehension.

A video explaining this in more detail will be released to parents shortly via parentmail.

Helping at Home

As always at home we encourage regular reading and spellings and times tables practise. Home Learning is given out on a Thursday and due in on a Tuesday. Spellings are also given out on a Thursday and tested the following Friday.
