RE- Welcoming a Special Visitor.

In RE the children have been learning about Palm Sunday and how Jesus was welcomed to Jerusalem.

We discussed ways in which special visitors are welcomed, such as the King or Queen at formal events.

We practised different ways of showing our appreciation of a special person coming to Bridgewater. 

We discussed how Christians remember Jesus’s arrival at Jerusalem on a special day each year known as ‘Palm Sunday’ because of the palm leaves that the people waved.​
