Science Week 2024- Minecraft for Education

A big thank you to Rob from EasiPC who visited Year 5 as part of science week.

At first, he asked us to guess how long it would take to travel from Earth to the moon in a car to get us thinking about the week's theme of 'Time'.

We then spent the morning using Minecraft Education travelling in a car and visiting other planets.

We compared the time the journey would have taken to how far away from the present day that would be in history. From Earth to Venus would be equivalent to travelling back in time from present day to Victorian England.
