The weather was glorious which brought out huge crowds to the Bridgewater Summer Fair 2025. The Friends Association led by Gemma had been planning all year and yesterday all hands were on deck making for a wonderful event.
Steve, the magician entertained crowds who sat under the trees with his magic tricks and made balloons for the children. Past, present and local pupils from Miss Morley's, 'All Stars' school performed to a very high standard. Dolly, Esmee and the troupe danced, some had choreographed their own pieces, and William, Ethanand Jonah sang beautiful songs harmoniously. We will be look out for them on the West End stage in the future.
There were all our favourite games, sports and stalls run by our staff, 'Pacesetters', parents and local friends. There was of course ice cream, food, drinks, candy floss and lots of delicious home baked cakes.
As you can see families were relaxed, smiling and enjoyed being with the community. It was a huge success due to the generosity of our volunteers and thank you to Maria our caretaker as I never saw an overflowing bin and she was always helping with a smile.
