Head's Blog

Welcome to this celebration of learning blog. I always think of the blogs as providing a window to look into the children’s fascinating world at school.  I am in the privileged position to be able to capture events across the school and community as they happen and share them with you.  It’s also a bit like a diary in that you can look back and see a colourful reflection of the year.

Spring Term Learning

We have had a busy term learning lots of exciting things at Bridgewater.   Some children made magic star wands out of willow to make connections with nature.  In Reception we have some keen geographers interested in the world.  InYear 5 they made electronic doodlers that I'd never seen before, they were fiddly to make but we had fantastic results after making some modifications.   Our sports teams have been triumphant with Charlie's support and training.  Classes have been learning outside and the icy weather provided some excellent investigation.  Our library is always brimming with enthusiastic readers and our STEM room has seen some great projects, creativity and designs this term.

Have a great half term and we will see you all soon.
