This year our World Book Day focus text was ‘Juno Valentine and the Magical Shoes’ by Eva Chen this inspired us to set the children the challenge of creating a story shoe or shoe box to represent their favourite story or character. It also linked beautifully with Northampton Town Shoe Making heritage which was discussed with the children.

We were AMAZED by the children and families’ ideas and creativity and loved listening to the children talking about their creations and stories that inspired them with so much enthusiasm.
