Volcano Poetry

Year 3 have recently been poets. They have used their learning from theme and science to help create some wonderful Volcano poems. They have learnt about how volcanos are formed and have studied the events of Pompeii. This has allowed us to gather technical vocabulary. 

In English we have focused on learning how to include similes, metaphors and personification into our writing. Putting all of this learning together has allowed year 3 to create some fantastic poems and we would like to share some with you.
