Dear Parents
Christmas Soiree
On Monday after school, Year 6 truly delighted us with their mature and enthusiastic performances of some of our favourite Christmas songs. It was a wonderful way to start the week and we are incredibly proud of them.
Year 5 Poetry
Year 5 have been busy writing Christmas poetry, and we were thrilled with Carmel’s poem. Mr Kennedy worked his AI magic, and you can see it scrolling on the big screen or on X or Facebook. Very well done.

Treasure Island
The Friends treated all of the children to the pantomime Treasure Island, performed by the Big Bubble Theatre. There was plenty of laughter and singing – thank you to the Friends for such a lovely treat.
Christmas Dinner
Heather and the TnS team cooked a delicious Christmas dinner for all the children. Our sincere thanks go to the entire TnS team and our amazing lunchtime supervisors, who work so hard every day to ensure the children are well fed, happy and cared for.
Christmas Learning
Miss Sheikh organised a whole-school Christmas enquiry, giving children the opportunity to explore Christmas both as a Christian festival and as a season of celebration and joy for all. It was lovely to see such thoughtful learning taking place across the school.
Goodbye and Best Wishes
We would like to thank Miss Hodges for her dedication and being part of our school and wish her every success in her new school in Manchester. We also wish Mrs McNair well in her new role in a local school and thank her for her contribution to Bridgewater.
Bridgewater Saves Neverland!
Well done to the cast of 2025 who performed A Peter Pan Adventure this morning. It was an absolute joy to see the children’s faces and hear their laughter.
Finally, we wish all our families a relaxing Christmas holiday.
Happy New Year and Best Wishes for 2026!
Alison Harvey
